A coffee with a mission. The Hope Blend is a naturally processed coffee from Western Uganda, made in partnership with Chicago Cubs pitcher Matthew Boyd and his nonprofit, Kingdom Home. Expect a heavy body and notes of berry in every cup.
Every bag provides six meals for children in Kingdom Home's care, part of its work to protect kids in Uganda from exploitation and build a new home for even more of them.
Matt and his wife, Ashley, founded Kingdom Home in 2018. Today, their three homes care for nearly 200 children, giving them a safe place to live, food, school and a future. This coffee is grown in the same country those kids call home, so every cup connects your morning to their story.

Smallholder farmers with UGACOF (Sucafina Uganda)
Western Uganda
Hope Blend's Embogo Natural comes from registered smallholder farmers across Western Uganda, near the Rwenzori Mountains — most tending just half a hectare to a hectare alongside plantains and bananas. Working with UGACOF (Sucafina in Uganda), they handpick ripe cherry and deliver it to nearby collection sites, where it is floated for quality and sun-dried on raised beds with lot-level traceability. UGACOF supports more than 8,000 farmer households with training, certification and new washing-station infrastructure.

Where do you source your coffee from?
The Hope Blend is a naturally processed coffee from Western Uganda, sourced as part of a partnership with Matthew Boyd's nonprofit, Kingdom Home.
How should I store my coffee?
Keep your coffee in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, in an airtight container. (A coffee bag with a ziplock closure is actually perfect!) For maximum freshness, we recommend brewing within 30 days of the roast date.
