About this coffee

The Gold Glove Blend is a sweet, full-bodied coffee to celebrate our favorite caffeine-fueled All-Star and yours — Chicago Cubs outfielder Ian Happ!

This coffee is a medium roast made up of beans from two completely different parts of the world, but ones that complement each other perfectly.

One of the components in this blend is a coffee from a cooperative in the South Kivu province of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, in East Africa. It brings a citrus-like fruitiness to the blend.

The other component comes from a second generation Guatemalan coffee farmer named Leonel Herrera, whose farm is named Los Pinos for the pine trees that can be found on and around the farm. It offers more traditional coffee notes, and blended together, the two pair for a sweet, full-bodied offering.
