Lockout Blend Contributes Nearly $1K to MLBPA Spring Training Relief Fund

What started as a joke on Twitter turned into a fun project, one that is making a real impact.

We're proud to stay that, thanks to sales of the Lockout Blend, we have contributed nearly $1,000 to The Players Trust, the charitable arm of the Major League Baseball Players Association (MLBPA).

We launched the Lockout Blend as a fun distraction from the fact that the baseball season wasn't going to start on time. But it turned into a real product, one that we used to partner with the players.

$1 from every bag sold was earmarked, and the money we contributed will be pooled with The Players Trust's Fastball Fund, which is supporting nonprofit organizations in the spring training markets of Florida and Arizona that were impacted by the lockout.

Many nonprofits rely on spring training game fundraising activities to support their operating budgets, and these funds will help impacted nonprofits that support youth development.

Thank you to everyone who purchased a bag and to everyone in the game who helped spread the word, including current players, former players and members of the media. This wouldn't have been possible without you!
